Delicious afternoon tea, beautiful venue and fantastic customer service. The team were so accommodating to the two babies in our group and even the fantastic pianist played a couple of kids’ tunes! Would definitely recommend!

This exceeded everything we thought it would be. My husband and I have 15+years of experience in fine dining and Kyvun provided the best service we’ve had in years. Took a nice afternoon tea into an experience we won’t forget for our anniversary!

I've had the MOST excellent Afternoon Tea experience at Palm Court, Langham. As soon as we arrived, our dietary requirements were reconfirmed, and we were seated with small stands provided for our handbags (cutest little touch that I've not seen anywhere else). Our waiter (Kyvun Nguyen) was immediately at our table, checked if it was our first visit, told us a bit about the history of the place, explained our menus, made recommendations as we requested and told us that we get unlimited refills. He immediately impressed us with his polite friendliness. His extremely attentive service, along with his encouragement to try different things put us entirely at ease and the whole experience was hugely elevated because of him. I cannot praise him enough, but the rest of the staff who brought tea or scones at different times were all great too. As for the food, the sandwiches were perfectly filled, and all (truffle egg, coronation chicken, beef) tasted great (salmon was just ok). All the pastries were great (custard cream was so unique) and the scones were perfect (both in size and flavour). I saw a nearby table receive a terribly cute service for children, with cakes in the shape of a teddy bear and train sets. The attention to detail is mind-blowing. We tried a few different teas, and they were all delicious. They even had a couple of really nice non alcoholic sparkling wines. The room is nice and allows enough space to each table that we are not all breathing down each other's necks. The pianist was talented, and above everything else, the crockery, napkins, menus and everything has this wonderful synchronous design. We were each presented with a little guidebook about the history of afternoon tea at the Langham, which is a unique and awesome idea. This may now be one of my top three afternoon teas in London - and a huge reason for that is the very pleasant and attentive service, so I have to commend Kyvun again. THANK YOU.

I visited The Palm at Lanham for afternoon tea during the Christmas period, and sadly, it didn’t live up to expectations. The Christmas decorations were stunning, creating a very festive and elegant atmosphere, but the experience as a whole fell short. The afternoon tea itself felt overpriced for what was offered. Portions were small, and the selection of sandwiches and pastries was limited. I couldn’t finish everything, so I asked for a takeaway. Unfortunately, I was given only two scones and some jam, which was disappointing and felt insufficient. Service was another drawback. It was slow and somewhat unorganized, making the experience feel rushed and less enjoyable. For a venue with such a premium price, I expected smoother service, more attention to detail, and a more generous portioning. Overall, while the festive setting and Christmas decor were beautiful, the afternoon tea at The Palm lacked balance in quality, quantity, and value for money. It didn’t meet the standards I hoped for, and I wouldn’t return for afternoon tea here. The location has great potential, but the experience didn’t match the expectations, leaving me underwhelmed despite the lovely decor.
